I have been lucky enough to travel to Melbourne thrice as a tourist, so now I kind of consider myself an expert with plenty of information about the city. In all the visits, I discovered new places, restaurants Mulching Mornington Peninsula and cafes. When my friend and I boarded our business class flights to Melbourne, we never knew this Australian city would become such a special place for us. The city is such that you almost don’t want to leave. It lures and attracts you in a strange way. You wish to visit again and again. Below mentioned are the top destinations and Restaurants that I loved best.

Rockpool Bar and Grill

For the finest steaks and burgers, I would recommend everyone a visit to the classy Rockpool Bar and Grill restaurant in Melbourne. It has a superb menu and all dishes that I have tasted are delicious.

Great Ocean Road Day Tour

The scenic drive on the Great Ocean Road from Torquay to Port Campbell is a must. Along the way you will be able to photograph wild coastal scenery and stunning beaches that border the road. St Kilda Beach is the most popular and happening beach in the city. In my opinion, it is the first beach that you ought to visit. From here you can also enjoy the city’s skyline.

No one cooks meat better than Smokin’ and Drinkin’. This bar on Johnston Street is a hit among the locals and I loved it too.

Royal Botanic Gardens

These internationally renowned botanic gardens are a big attraction for tourists and one can imagine why. Spread over 38 hectors, the beautifully manicured landscapes, native vegetation and unique plants are a nature’s paradise.

Queen Victoria Market

Popularly known as the ‘Queen’, this market is a major tourist attraction in Melbourne. Here you will be able to buy clothes, shoes and jewellery. A variety of fruits and vegetables are also for sale here. The hustle and bustle makes the whole place quite exciting.
